Education Environment & Innovation
The Education Environment and Innovation section works together with other sections in the Medical Simulation and Innovation Center to achieve the mission and vision of the OMSB.The main goal of the section is to contribute to the development of educational innovation technologies (such as: virtual reality technology, Augmented reality, and 3D printing..etc.), integrating them into residency curricula, and evaluate their effectiveness. Furthermore, encouraging the use of modern technology e.g immersive room, simulation devices and facilities efficiently and effectively. In addition , we support innovators in healthcare and medical education sector to creat relevant ideas, initiate projects, develop solutions which lead to excellence in education and/or health services in Oman.

Description
A monthly grand-round style lecture hosted by the OMSB and delivered virtually to a wide range of audience involved in healthcare within Oman. The lectures are followed by a live Q&A session where the audience will be encouraged to engage in active dialogue with the faculty. This project has evolved from the OMSB Innovation in Healthcare and Medical Education initiative
Objective:
1- Aims to broaden the reach of OMSB educational mission and to inspire excellence in healthcare and medical education in Oman.
