Professional Competence Department


This section aims at setting policies, regulations and guidelines related to professional competence. It also aims at reviewing the current bylaws and policies and update them to be aligned with international standards and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the same in order to achieve a safe and high quality practices. The other roles are as follows:

  • Implement plans, systems and rules related to developing organizational regulations and policies in the professional competence field
  • Implement programs concerned with reviewing institutional bylaws and policies
  •  Review and update the current institutional bylaws and policies.
  • Increase stakeholders' awareness of the institutional bylaws and policies
  • Receive and direct stakeholders' feedback, complaints and suggestions to the Director
  •  Prepare an annual plan to review, update and evaluate the bylaws and policies
  •  Benchmark OMSB bylaws and policies with international ones
  • Conduct workshops on developing bylaws and policies in line with best local and international practices 
  • Submit periodic reports to the Director
