OVERVIEW

The curricula and faculty development section reviews and analyzes the curricula of all programs and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement as per OMSB standards and ACGME-I requirements. The section assists in developing new residency and fellowship programs by playing a crucial role in the process of “starting new programs”. It also provides feedback for new systems, committees, and task forces to assist with curricula & Faculty development -related issues.  The section is also responsible for design, development and conduct of faculty development activities including workshops, courses and academic review days.

To assist and guide programs in the development of their curricula to ensure they meet standards and requirements for the training and education of our trainees.  To offer faculty development activities which support and augment training capabilities in provision of education to trainees.

  • ·         Monitor curricula implementation and educational operation recognized by OMSB
  • ·         Design, develop and conduct faculty development activities
  • ·         Ensure granting equal educational opportunists to all OMSB faculty in different academic fields and specialties.
